Flu Jabs available in local pharmacies

Flu is an unpredictable virus that can cause mild or unpleasant illness in most people, and can make vulnerable people very ill indeed. Some local pharmacies are offering the flu jab for adults, in addition to doctors surgeries. If you do not qualify for free prescriptions, you can pay - it costs about £10. You can have it done in Boots Pharmacy on the Borough,  in Vaughan James pharmacy, opposite Elphicks on West Street, and in the Lloyds pharmacy in Sainsbury's, Water Lane . Or ask in your local pharmacy to see if they offer this service.
